Warranty Policy
All products sold by Avertec Online are covered by a warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms and conditions stated below. This warranty is provided in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 (Malaysia).
Warranty Coverage
- Standard warranty period is 12 months from the date of delivery, unless stated otherwise in writing.
- Certain components (such as batteries, chargers, tyres, wear-and-tear parts, or consumables) may carry a separate or limited warranty period, which will be specified at the time of purchase.
- The warranty covers defects arising from normal usage under recommended operating conditions.
Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of parts
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, or improper handling
- Improper installation, incorrect operation, or failure to follow operating instructions
- Damage caused by overloading, unauthorised modifications, or use beyond product specifications
- Repairs, alterations, or servicing carried out by unauthorised personnel
- Damage caused by external factors such as fire, flood, power surge, or natural disasters
Warranty Claim Procedure
- Contact our service team via service@avertec.com.my with the following details:
- Order number / invoice number
- Product model and serial number (if applicable)
- Description of the issue, supported by photos or videos
- Our technical team will review the claim and may request further information or inspection.
- If required, the product must be returned or delivered to our factory address for inspection:

- Upon confirmation of a valid warranty claim, we will proceed with repair or replacement at our discretion.
Repair or Replacement
- Warranty service will be provided in the form of repair or replacement, depending on the nature of the defect.
- Replacement products or parts may be new or refurbished, provided they meet original specifications.
- Warranty repair or replacement does not extend or restart the original warranty period unless stated otherwise.
Warranty Transportation & Costs
- Transportation or delivery costs to and from our service centre shall be borne by the customer, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For confirmed manufacturing defects, repair or replacement costs for parts and labour will be covered by us.
Important Notes
- Warranty claims submitted without valid proof of purchase may not be accepted.
- Products found to be operating normally after inspection may be subject to inspection or handling charges.
- We reserve the right to reject warranty claims that do not comply with the above terms.
